YOGA POSES TO START THE DAY

Wakey Wakey rise and shine! If only that were true. Well it can be if you practise a little yoga before you start the day and you don't even have to get out of bed if you don't want to.
A few gentle yoga poses before getting up can lift your spirits even on a gloomy winter morning, shake off sleep, boost the body’s circulatory systems and blood flow, balances the hormonal system and detox you. In addition if you start the day in a positive way then your far more likely to continue those healthy habits for the rest of the day.
By following just a selection of the poses below each morning befor you start your day after a few days you will feel you have more energy and alert, notice a calmer centred state of mind and who knows maybe you will begin to rise and shine!
